I love the title you chose, and the lemon graphic is a lovely illustration of the point. :)
You know, I think your car dealership ad might work very well. (It reminds me of the original "Rent-a-Wreck" premise.) And while it may lower expectations of the cars on offer, it also sends a terrific message of honesty and humour which could resonate with customers quite powerfully.
Let's face it, when we deal with a vehicle merchant we are always nervous of being ripped off. A tagline like that seems to offer an authentic openess which I would find refreshing. As I often say, people buy from people...
